2015-04-06 Progress & Reminiscing

garage_whiteboardWith our two year anniversary coming up it’s been fun to look back on where people started and where they are now. For us, we started in our garage and now we’re in a brand new building with about 6x the space we had then. We kept the original garage white board that had goals and lifts written down for several people and I’ve attached that image. Several of the goals are just laughable now. Chris wanted to clean 225 but now snatches 245 or more. Russell wanted to snatch 115 and now snatches 180. Bogie’s squat was 285 and is now probably 350+. Lou could do 7 double unders and now can do 100.

As with anything, consistency is key and just showing up is 90% of the battle. If you show up, you’ll do something. And if you show up enough you’ll see some impressive changes in your numbers. It’s easy to forget where you started but moving from shit->suck->good->great is a process and sometimes you have to look back and be proud of how far you’ve come. Congrats to everyone; back to work…

EMOTM stop where you are and complete 3 burpees and then pick up where you left off. This is an old Lance Birthday workout – maybe he’ll show up for it 🙂
