2014-01-28 – Fitness Should Be Fun
We want CrossFit 316 to be a place that everybody enjoys visiting. Even if you’re not doing a workout and just want to stop by and hangout for a while; that’s great and we encourage that! Our gym philosophy is based around community and positivity. Most importantly, we believe that going to the gym should be FUN. Sure the workouts are hard but that’s the point. Sooner or later everybody goes through a fitness metamorphosis where they actually enjoy the suffering and maybe even crave it.
People that haven’t experienced it probably won’t understand but that’s ok. Getting stronger and more fit really is fun and the only person that can change that is you. What is your mindset when you show up to the gym? Leave the day’s troubles at the door and I guarantee you’ll get results. Remember, there’s always some poor soul trouncing around the desert or stuck in a cubicle or sitting in a wheelchair that would gladly trade places with you. So smile, lift heavy and crush it…
